If you’re a regular shopper at Sainsbury’s then you probably already know about their reward/loyalty scheme. Collect points that can be added to your Nectar Card with each spend online and in-store. You can then redeem this points on a number of reward scheme items or even get money off future shopping.
The Nectar Card, by Aimia, is a reward scheme designed to grant you points with each pound you spend at hundreds of retailers. The idea behind the scheme is that shoppers would repeat purchase at these retailers in order to accumulate points. This is great for both the retailer and the consumer as they’re both gaining from the scheme.
Nectar Card already work with a number of the UK’s leading brands such as Sainsbury’s, Argos, Debenhams, BP, and many more. These points can be collected and redeemed for fantastic rewards and you’ll also received tailored discounts and offers suited just for you based on your spending habits.
Getting a Nectar Card is free and the sign up process is quick and easy either from the Nectar Card website or from the Sainsbury’s website.
Well firstly make sure you keep an eye on our Sainsbury’s Freebies page as there’s often chances to claim points for free on there. There’s currently an offer of 100 free Nectar Points by registering your insurance renewal dates. A quick and easy way to get points on the board!
The main way to collect points though is through using your card when you buy from Nectar’s supported retailers, which you can find a full list here.
Sainsbury's are one of the most popular supermarkets in the UK and they always promote freebies on their website that you can add your basket. Normally they provide a voucher code too and this can be entered at the checkout to remove the price of the products that they're giving away.
You're probably wondering why they can do this? Or why would they bother?
Well it's good for Sainsbury's because it helps promote new product lines and at the same time, you're likely to fill your basket with other items and actually pay for them. In addition, once you've signed up for an account, Sainsbury's are able to market you with future freebies and promotions.
As well as freebies, Sainsbury's also run a number of competitions that are either promoted by themselves or their partners. You can check out the latest Sainsbury's competitions right here at Freebie Supermarket or keep an eye out and you'll see them posted.
