Terms: For eligible educational establishments, local authorities and not-for-profit community groups in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland has a separate scheme. School planting must be on school grounds, land regularly accessible to pupils or publicly accessible land. Community sites need genuine public access; ordinary private gardens do not normally qualify. Request up to four packs, totalling no more than 420 saplings. Trees are approximately 20–60cm tall; species may vary and protective guards are not included. March 2027 delivery requires an address occupied during working hours for a signature. Applications are expected to close in January, but no exact deadline is stated. Approval and supply are not guaranteed. Isle of Man and Channel Islands deliveries are excluded; Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland enquiries use the provider’s separate contact route. Photograph: Judith Parry / WTML.

Description

The Woodland Trust is accepting applications for its March 2027 tree packs. Eligible schools, councils and community organisations can choose native saplings for a shared planting project. Packs contain 15, 30, 105 or 420 trees, depending on the mix.

Read the pack options and eligibility guidance, obtain the landowner’s permission and find the planting site’s grid reference before applying. Requests are assessed; the Trust expects to respond within eight weeks. Successful applicants receive their trees by courier and must plant and care for them.
