Free Pets at Home Pet Pals Workshops – October Half-Term 2026

Children aged 4–10 can explore animal care at a free Pet Pals workshop during the October 2026 half-term. The 45-minute sessions cover keeping pets comfortable around Halloween and Bonfire Night, with games, activities and opportunities to meet animals. Children receive a certificate, sticker and colouring sheets.

Use the provider’s store finder, choose an available date and complete the booking form with an adult’s contact details and each child’s age. Dates and capacity vary by store; some sessions are already fully booked. A parent or guardian must stay throughout.

There is no general booking deadline published. Book while your chosen session has places. The provider warns that stores have a high presence of animal and nut allergens.

Free workshops at participating Pets at Home stores, subject to available places. Activities are aimed at ages 4–10; participants must be at least four. An adult over 18 must make the booking and agree to the provider’s terms.

Each child must be supervised throughout by a parent or guardian. The provider limits attendance to one adult per child and requires a responsible adult for every child. Follow staff instructions and handle animals carefully.
