Free Medway Bus Travel on Three December Weekends

Explore Medway without paying a local bus fare during three December weekends. All bus operators in Medway are taking part on 5–6, 12–13 and 19–20 December 2026, with free travel available until the last bus each day.

Board a local service within Medway, or one starting there, on a participating date. You can travel within the area or across its boundary. If you travel out into Kent, budget for the return: journeys starting outside Medway are charged at the normal fare.

Check your operator’s timetable before setting off. The council’s information page includes routes and operator links.

Valid on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December 2026 only, until the last bus on each date. Applies to local bus services boarded within Medway or starting in Medway. All Medway bus operators participate. Cross-boundary journeys from Medway qualify, but normal fares apply to return journeys from Kent outside Medway. Services operate to their own timetables; check your route before travelling. This is a travel promotion, with no separate advance application deadline stated.
