Free Saturday Buses on Selected Leicestershire Routes

Explore Leicestershire without paying a bus fare on participating council-supported routes on Saturdays. The offer is open to residents and visitors and runs until 2 January 2027, with no service on Boxing Day, 26 December.

Board an included service and tell the driver your destination to receive a £0 ticket. Check the route list and timetable before travelling: this is not a county-wide offer on every commercial bus.

Participating routes carry LC, HC or MC service numbers. FoxConnect is a separate half-price promotion and is not included in this free-travel listing.

Valid on Saturdays from 3 October 2026 to 2 January 2027, excluding 26 December when services do not operate. Available to residents and visitors. Included services are LC1, LC3, LC4, LC5/5X, LC6/6A, LC7, LC8, LC9, LC10, LC11/CB14, LC12, LC13, LC14, LC15, LC16, LC17, MC1–MC5 and HC1–HC4. Check current timetables before travel. Other commercial services are excluded. FoxConnect is discounted rather than free. Normal concessionary pass arrangements continue.
