Free Swansea Bus Travel on 19 Christmas Dates in 2026

Swansea Council is funding free bus journeys on selected Christmas shopping and holiday dates. Both ends of your journey must be inside the council area, but you do not have to live in Swansea. The dates are 21, 22, 28 and 29 November; 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December; 21–24 December; and 27–31 December 2026. Board a participating service and tell the driver your destination when needed. Journeys normally need to start before 7pm. On Sunday 22 November the cut-off is extended to 9pm for the Christmas Parade. Check the operator’s timetable before travelling, especially over Christmas.
